my name is breanne crawford.
i am 22 years old.
i have been scrapping since i was 12!
i am a social worker.
my goal in life is to make a difference which sounds trivial but i live it everyday as a caseworker for abused and neglected children.
i am crazy about my friends, especially the amazing ones i've met through scrapping.
i keep a blog and would love if you stopped by.
i am honored to be asked to do a little sketch lovin' here!
i am so NOT someone to use sketches and was planning on doing the layout and then doing the sketch but i had to have the sketch in sooner than the layout and so i had to use a sketch and i had so much fun making my design work for me. does that make sense?
i have the cutest nephew in the entire world and the best little sister ever.
i am psyched that you are here and can't wait to see what you do with my sketch!!!

Hello All. I'm Debbie Jewell originally from South Africa but have been happily settled in the UK for the last 12 years. I am sooo excited to have this opportunity to guest design here at Pencil Lines - Thank you!.  I'm ..ahem...years old,  married to Dave. and am a working mum to four girlies, Hannah, Katie, Sarah and Emily.  The women in our family have always been creative and I was lucky enough to grow up with my brilliantly crafty mum and Toopie (my stepmum) who is a very talented artist and photographer. I discovered scrapbooking when I was visiting my family in SA in 2004 and can honestly say I was hooked from the first moment I laid eyes on an album. (My husband is of the opinion Marina and the Gumtree Ladies Club have a lot to answer for!!). Scrapbooking is my passion, I like the fact that not only do I have a creative outlet but also that I am creating a story book of my childrens lives.  The addded bonus being that through my hobby I have met many wonderful people and made some life long friends!

Ten random facts about me:

1. I live in a small mining town with no LSS

2. I have two children - Brianna (3) and Liam (1) - and my super-hot hubby's name is Troy

3. I am on the Design Team for Scrapboxx (Australian scrap store)

4. I have just released my own line of chipboard scrapbooking products through Scrapware called "Karen Day Designs"

5. Ive been published in the Australian magazines: For Keeps and Scrapbooking Creations

6. I won the Creativity section of the For Keeps Awards of Excellence for 2008

7. Im a very messy scrapper

8. I take too many photos ... but simply cant stop!

9. I have a wonderful beautiful blessed life that I LOVE

10. I feel very priveledged to be invited to be the GDT of Pencillines this week!!!

Here's what Jana had to say;

Hello Scrappers! I am Jana Eubank from Bountiful, Utah, USA. I am completely thrilled at this opportunity to guest design here at Pencil Lines. Wow! Thank you so much for having me! I am 32 years old and have been married to my sweetheart, Kevin, for 11 years. I am a SAHM to our four children, three girls (Jensyn, Maryn, and Camryn) and one son (Owen).  I grew up in a family that owned a printing business, so naturally I have always gravitated towards all things paper. I couldn't help but fall in love with scrapbooking when I discovered it as a college student almost 15 years ago. I love scrapbooking whenever I can and admittedly neglect my homemaking responsibilities more often than I should for the sake of my current project.I love several things about scrapbooking. I love that it celebrates family and life. My family is the most important thing to me, so naturally I love doing something that pays tribute to them. I love that scrapbooking satisfies me creatively. I can't imagine not having scrapbooking as a part of my daily life. It has become a part of who I am. I currently design for Adornit, Crop Addict, BackPorch Memories, Noel Mignon, and Sweet Pea Scraps.

Here's what Dina had to say;

Hi! I'm Dina Wakley and it's an honor and pleasure to be the guest for Pencil Lines. I used to be a technical writer, and one thing technical writers love is bulleted lists. So...here's me in a bulleted list:

• I have 3 boys (ages 8, 10, and 12) and a supportive husband.
• I collect books and dust bunnies.
• I've been scrapping since December 1995.
• I also do mixed media visual journaling.
• I can make really, really good cinnamon rolls and whole-wheat bread.
• I'm training to be a docent (tour guide) at the Phoenix Art Museum. If you're ever in town, let me know and I'll give you a tour!
• I am not a morning person.
• I once dressed up like Napoleon Dynamite and did the dance from the movie at a church activity...and
• I won the grand prize.
• I love to travel.

Here's a little about Marilyn:

With a degree in illustration, Marilyn has worked as an artist in one form or another for the last 20 years. Eleven years ago, scrapbooking took over her life, with mixed media and collage following soon after. She was inducted into Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame in 2000, and became a PaperKuts Power Team member in 2001.  Marilyn has been on several design teams for scrapbooking companies, such as Autumn Leaves, KI Memories, Pebbles, and Provo Craft and was a Garden Girl for www.twopeasinabucket.com for four years.  Marilyn has been published in numerous industry magazines since 1998, most recently with the popular Autumn Leaves "Designing With" series and Somerset/Stampington publications.  She lives in Utah with her husband and their four children.

Heres what Nancy had to say;                   

Thank you so much for having me as guest designer over here at Pencil Lines, I’m so honored!

I’m Nancy van den Berg, 29 years old and I live in the middle of The Netherlands together with my boyfriend Pascal and our 2 doggies Smokey and Twister. I’m working as a marketing/sales secretary at a pharmaceutical company and I also love to travel around the world (in fact, we just booked our next trip.. this year we’ll be visiting Florida.. so excited!)

I started scrapbooking in October 2005 (I actually discovered this amazing hobby while visiting a HUGE scrapbookstore in the US). Crafts with creativity have always been part of my life. Scrapbooking has turned out to be more than just a hobby to me. It allows me to express myself creatively and to share a part of myself with others. I try to create each and every day (at least when I’m having the energy for it after a long working day at the office.. hehe..) I love working with fun and bright colors (usually with a white background).. and I’m absolutely addicted to cute little embellishments, to everything pink and to circles!!!

Heres what Iris had to say;

Hello everyone! I am so honoured to be a guest here. This blog has been one of my favourite sites for inspiration and so you can just imagine how thrilled I am to have my layout appear here next to the fabulous creations of the design team.

I am a scrapper from The Philippines, a wife to a wonderful and supportive husband named Bryan, and a mother to a beautiful and sweet three year old girl named Nicole Breanna. I got hooked to scrapbooking after trying to organize my baby’s photos but have been left unsatisfied with ordinary photo albums. I like to give my pages dimension with lots of detail. I rarely plan my pages – I let a photo or a patterned paper inspire me and I take it from there.

Aside from being an avid scrapbooker who dreams and obsesses about patterned papers and page ideas all day, I am also a pianist and a partner in an events management company. I’m also a very active person who frequents the gym, and joins 5k and 10k marathon runs.

I am fortunate to be designing for October Afternoon, Prima Marketing, and Badgirlskits. I have also been named as one of the 2008 Memory Makers Magazine Masters. I am thankful for the blessings which have come my way as an artist and will continue to be thankful for the happiness and fulfilment that I get from this craft.
