Please give a huge Pencil Line's welcome to the Wonderful Donna Downey for our Guest Design Team member. Here are two sketches from Donna's recent mini album creations.
Here's what Donna had to say: "I am a self-proclaimed paper-product junkie and have excitedly took to scrapbooking as an extension of my paper product and photography addiction. I am also the author of the innovative book series, Yes, It's a Scrapbook! and as Trends Editor for Simple Scrapbooks magazine, I enjoy using and implementing the latest and greatest in the industry while maintaining my simplistic style. A former elementary school teacher, I now travel across the globe teaching at scrapbook stores and events, as well as, developing my online classes that I teach with Big Picture Scrapbooking. Originally from the Jersey shore, I now live in North Carolina, with my husband Bill and our three children; McKenna, Payton and Cole." You can find more of Donna's work on her blog.
and here is the artwork from the design team:
We have decided to put two sketches up to keep you all going for the next two weeks as we are all having a break for this holiday period and so will all be back on January 7th with another sketch and a cool UK Scrapbooking Artist. We will though be back on the 31st to annouce our favourite layout for December so keep emailing us your layouts :)
Wishing all our reader's a fantastic holdiay season and hope 2007 brings you all more creative time and energy.

I came over here after reading Donna's blog. I had never heard of Pencil Lines. I'm so glad I did. Wow!!! I have been SERIOUSLY missing out on some of the best layouts EVER!! You ladies rock in my book. I'm adding this blog to the "absolute must read everyday" list. Just...wow! So happy! I haven't seen anything in the mags that I like as much as I like what I have seen here. Such incredible and fresh inspiration!
Okay, done gushing over you all for now.
