We would like to let you all know about a new adventure just started that involves Pencil Lines. Anam is part of the Design Team at the newly launched challenge blog called Altered Pencil Lines where the design team will be using the fantastic and versatile Pencil Lines Sketches to create different types of art, especially altered art - everything from Canavses to jewellery, Quilts to home decor. We wish them tons of success and hope you will go and check them out.

Here's what Martha had to say: "Hi, my name is Martha, I am soon to be 39 and I am totally addicted to scrapbooking. I started scrapping approx. a year and a half ago and have scrapped almost every day since then.
My inspiration is almost always 1 of my pugs, but I have been known to scrap humans every once and a while.I have been married to my hubby Bob for 7 years and besides the 3 pugs (Opie, Mugsy and now Pixie) we have a kitty named Ivo.
Besides scrapping I also enjoy sewing, I think everyone I know has a tote bag I have made and I love making felt monsters. Things that make me happy are photography, anything with skulls on it, the color orange, 80's alternative music and the fact that I just made the zingBOOM Design Team. Here's what Jo-Ann had to say: "Hi my name is Jo-Anne te Raa. I am a mad scrapping english girl living in a windmill in Holland. I have clogs, a bike and I love cheese...no seriously I do live in Holland in a small traditional village. I am married to Harry, a big tough Dutch marine (looks so nice in his uniform!) and our two year old son Samuel, who is a wizz with rubber stamps!
I work full time as an ops manager for a huge American sports company, whose symbol is a Swoosh..:) But I dream of making my life in my art. I am on several DT's including Scrap in Style TV and have a regular space in a Dutch scrap magazine. I LOVE teaching workshops and I can so not wait to see what you make of my sketch! Hello! I'm Fiona Beckman, obsessive amateur photographer and mum to two very photogenic li'l girls who are filling up my hard drive and feature in about 90% of my layouts. I started scrapping in March 2006, although I've always been a crafter of one type or another. Since first dipping my toe in the water (or should that be ink?), it's taken over my life, and I now spend most of my time working on designs for ScrapaGoGo kits , the UK Speshal Dares Blog and The Design Collective, as well as inflicting crafty gifts on my friends and family.
I'm still finding my 'style' - I love to try new techniques and ideas - but most of my work includes handcutting, inks and stamps. I've not used sketches much in the past but I really enjoyed coming up with a design for Pencil Lines, and found it a really useful experience creatively. I can see that this won't be the last time I work with a sketch! A huge thank you to the Pencil Line girls for inviting me over to play :D "

And here is what Tracie had to say: "I was totally delighted to be asked to design a sketch for Pencil Lines. I always draw up sketches before I start scrapping and have piles of note books scattered around just in case I get a sudden flash of inspiration. I have been known to use serviettes in the local restaurant, if for some reason my sketch pad isn’t at hand!<
As a small child I always enjoyed arts and crafts and, as anadult, I became a qualified Visual Display Artist. I initially began paper crafting and making cards whilst home educating my son, Jack. In August 2005 I stumbled across UK Scrappers and completed my first layout the following month.
Scrapbooking has certainly taken over my life and I try and scrap everyday. Last year my husband converted our conservatory into my scrap room, but my stash supplies still manage to sneak through to the dinning room table! Through Scrapbooking I have developed a greater interest in photography and I now carry my camera with me at all times. I defiantly look at the world through different eyes since becoming hooked on scrapping.
I try to create something everyday. It really helps keep me sane and is defiantly my “me” time. I draw a lot of my inspiration from the environment which surrounds me and having two active young men in my life, means I am always given plenty of photo opportunities.
I have been fortunate enough to have had my work published in Scrapbook Inspirations and was honoured to be named one of The Best of British Newcomer Scrapbooking Talents of 2006, as well as The Best of British Newcomer Cardmaker.
During 2006 I was given an Honorary Mention from 3 Bugs in a Rug and I have been invited to be a Guest Designer for them during 2007. I currently serve on The Lippy Chick Design Team and in February 2007 I was invited to join the Scrap Genie Design Team and will be contributing work to The Craft and Home Magazine.
Most of my scrapping revolves around the men in my life, my friends and extended family. You can see plenty of my layouts and photos on my blog.
