Please give a great big Pencil Line's welcome to the talented Karla Dudley who is joining us this week as our Guest Design Team member and who provided this sketch for this week's Challenge.
Here's a few words from Karla: "Hi guys! My name is Karla Dudley and I LOVE "...this ART thing we do!" I have been scrapping since late 2003 after my son Kody was born. It was all by accident. I was looking to buy a canvas board to paint on and came across a scrapbooking magazine. I picked it up...turned the pages and was hooked ever since. My family is my biggest inspiration for really all that I do. I am married with three children. Kody (4) and my twin girls Kennedy and Chloe' (2). Life is busy...life is beautiful...
Ever since I stared blogging I have met the coolest gals and learned a lot about scrapbooking. Currently I design for Scrapologie and I am part of a new challenge site One Little Word. I am branching off, trying different things. I have a new love for hybrid scrapbooking and making my own designs. Traditional ART is in my blood and it often times finds it's way onto my page.
As far as style? I would say that it's simply complicated...perfectly imperfect. I like clean and all my blog sistas know I LOVE circles!!! It's rare to see a layout of mine without Vellum or some kind of transparency on it. My journaling is often times hidden and I'm a sucker for office supplies! I'm just having a blast! Check out my blog to see more of my work and ART. Thanks so much for looking in and playing along.
I am so very honored to be asked to be a guest designer for Pencil Lines. I respect your ART and welcome the new team. I'm exited to see what you all cook up this time! :)
Many creative wishes to you all!
-Karla"
and here is this week's gorgeous artwork:
