Please give a huge Pencil Line's welcome to the lovely Gigi Kennedy who is joining us this week as our Guest Design Team member and Gigi also provided this sketch for this week's Challenge.
Here's a few words from Gigi: "Hi everyone!! My name is Gigi Kennedy. I live just North of New York City with my husband, Mike, my three little kids, Kelly, Ryan and Kate and my boxer, Ryatt. I'm honored to be a Fashionista at Scrap In Style TV and a member of the Creative Team at One Little Word.
I started scrapbooking in 2003 after seeing and being amazed by a friend's scrapbook. I was so drawn to recording and saving memories and what is important to me. You see, I've always been a "journaler" and as the years have gone on, my scrapbook has become more than just putting pretty pictures with pretty paper. It has become a way for me to try to capture what my life is like right now...both the hills and the valleys. And I guess I should admit... scrapbooking has allowed me to further explore my obsession with felt and polka dots.
You can see more of Gigi's beautiful work on her blog .
and here is this week's gorgeous artwork:
Remember this is the Last sketch for August so if you would like to be in with a chance of the Monthly Prize (this month its from Scrapbook Doodle) for the Favourite Layout, please email us a copy of your layouts inspired by August's Sketches before next Sunday.

I just found this site today! I immediately was drawn to this sketch. I'd been looking for just the perfect way to scrap these pictures of my son. He has autism, his language skills are limited. On a recent vacation he had a great, although brief, conversation with me. I capture a few shots of him. I wanted a layout that would be animated like he was during the conversation. This sketch was just right! Thank you so much for sharing!!!
