Sketch #51

Please give a huge Pencil Line's welcome to the talented Nathalie Kalbach who is joining us this week as our Guest Design Team member and thank our very own Kimmy who provided this sketch for this week's Challenge.

Pencillines_natkalbach Here's a few words from Nat: "I started scrapping in August 2004, after my wedding in the U.S.  As I have always been fascinated by paper and photos, I was determined to create a cool wedding album for us. My husband Jim actually mentioned that I should do a scrapbook and I had no idea what he was talking about. A little bit of online research directed me to 2Peas and Scrapmuse . I registered with Scrapmuse straight away and subscribed to their monthly kits, they basically taught me how to scrap.

In June 2006 I started my blog 'Scrapbook-Trends', which focusses mainly on techniques and trends, hence the name. I like to try out new techniques and am interested to hear how other like-minded people work. This gave me the idea to approach well-known Scrappers and post interviews with them on the blog. My first ever Interview was with Corinne Delis and I enjoyed it so much that I didn’t stop there. Cathy Z, Ali E, Elsie, Vicki Chrisman just to name a few were amongst a long line of scrappers I was fortunate to  interview.

I was delighted to have been invited on the Design Teams for Scrapmuse and Scrap Art-Zine . The latter is Germany's first Scrapbooking Magazine and we were proud to have featured an article about Pencil Lines in one of our previous issues!

When I was asked if I would consider being a GDT for Pencil Lines, I was ecstatic! I love the weekly inspiration and being able to play along with the PL team is just awesome! Thank you Pencil Lines for having me, I enjoyed this weeks sketch and the wonderful Frances Meyer product very  much.

You can see more of Nat beautiful work on her blog.

The Pencil Lines Design Team want to take this time to thank Frances Meyer for their amazing and generous sponsorship for this week, and to celebrate we will be giving some of Frances Meyer's new product to our Favourite Layout done to this sketch!! so get your layouts in to us BY EMAIL by next Sunday for a chance to win.
