Welcome to Pencil Lines, the sketch challenge blog. Sketch 115 is the last of 2008, and we have a great competiton to end the year off with. But first, please give a big Pencil Lines welcome to this weeks guest designer, Brenda Hurd. Our very own Michelle provided this weeks festive sketch!
Here is what Brenda had to say:
My name is Brenda Hurd and I live in a small town in Utah. I am married to a very supportive man and have 3 beautiful children - Mason (7), Ethan(5), and last but not least Baylee (2). I have been scrapping since I was 16 years old which is more than half of my life - I'm 32 now. I started when my husband - then boyfriend - left on a mission. I haven't stopped since then. My style changes every time I scrapbook - but I do have a certain design that I seem to turn to when I'm in a rut. That's why I love scrapping so much - if I'm in a funky mood - it comes out on my layouts - or more conservative - it shows in my work too! I'm so excited for the opportunity to be a guest designer for Pencil Lines - I love to come here for inspiration! Michelle's sketch was a little outside my comfort zone but I loved working with it and getting multiple pictures on a layout and getting some of my Christmas pictures out of my stack! So Thanks!
I currently design for Fancy Pants Designs and also a challenge blog Method Playground. I'm looking forward to this upcoming year for more design opportunities that have come my way and to share what I love to do most (besides hanging with my family)! I also share a lot of work on my blog!
