Please give a big Pencil Lines welcome to this weeks guest designer, Danielle Flanders. Danielle has offered us a few tips on how she did her layout also!
This weeks sketch has been provided by Michelle.
Here is what Danielle had to say:
Hi everyone! My name is Danielle Flanders, although you may have seen me around as Dani. I live in upstate N.Y. now near the base of the Adirondack Mountains, but lived in South Dakota all my life...still very much a midwest girl at heart! My hubby and I have been married for 10 years and have 2 girls, ages 9 and 3, so unfortunately for him, we love all things girly in our house (even our cat is a girl. ha)
I began scrapbooking when my first daughter was born to create a baby book for her, however I've always been into art - drawing and painting, and recently I learned to quilt. I'd say my style is a little shabby, feminine and soft, yet I like clean lines also. I'm addicted to ribbons, twine, buttons and rub ons, but I love it all! Currently I am designing for: Pink Paislee, Dream Street, Melissa Frances, Label Tulip kit club and design a monthly card kit for Create My Keepsake. Thanks so much for having me this week!
You can see more of Danielles work on her blog.
Here are this weeks design team layouts:

Tips:
1. When printing out my large photo, I used the excess strips from the piece of photo paper to punch my border with. I love to make use of any scraps I have.
2. I added the flower rub ons and bird rub on to paper first and then cut them out, because I wanted to raise them up off the page and give them some dimension. Also, it is great for moving them around when you are undecided as to where to put them!
3. Have fun mixing up your titles by using capital and small letters. (Especially good when you run out of a letter!)
4. Cut apart your rub ons and use them unexpectedly! The swirls near the title were actually one rub on that I cut in half.
