Please give a big Pencil Lines welcome to this weeks guest designer, Melissa Deakin. This weeks sketch has been provided by Anna.
Here is what Melissa had to say:
I began scrapbooking in 2002 shortly after the birth of my first son.
I was new to being a stay-at-home mom and really needed a creative outlet.
Scrapbooking was the perfect solution as it combined my loves of photography, journaling and preserving memories.
Since 2002, my family has grown and I am now the mother to three boys: Sean is 6, Luke is 3 and Jackson is just shy of 3 months.
Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to have my work featured in publications such as Scrapbooks, etc.; Creating Keepsakes; CARDS magazine; PaperCrafts, Simple Scrapbooks and PaperKuts. In 2004, I was named a PaperKuts Power Team member and later became a contributing editor to the magazine. This past year, I won Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame contest. Currently, I design scrapbook pages and projects for my LSS, Buffalo Stamps and Stuff and I share my work on my blog, Savoring the Details. I am also taking an online photography class in hopes of improving my photography skills.
Life is certainly busy, but imperfectly perfect!
