Here's what Dena had to say:

Hi! My name is Dena. I am a 30 yr. old SAHM to my daughter Zoë who is seven. I have been scrapbooking for the past 4 years in the traditional sense but after literally digging through my hope trunk at home, I unearthed several scrapbooks that I had completely forgotten about! So I guess I was bitten by the bug by the time I was 8.

Currently I am on the design team for Paper Trunk and am the Community Coordinator for Webster’s Pages.

I love scrapbooking and everything it encompasses. It is such a great outlet both emotionally and artistically. I am so excited to have the chance join the wonderful team here at Pencil Lines. I have been so inspired by this site and was thrilled to get to be a part of it!

Here is what Maria had to say:

I'm Maria McPherson and I'm very lucky to live in the beautiful county of Northumberland in northern England. I live here with my gorgeous, but very naughty, two cats after being widowed very suddenly 3 years ago. Life, I'm happy to say, is now on the up again and I'm starting to enjoy living again. For my "proper" job (you know, the one that pays all the bills!) I am a staff nurse working in elderly care which I absolutely love! Weekends are when I get to play with paper, photos and glue.
I have been addicted to crafts in one shape or form since I was a small child. For Christmas and Birthdays, my mother always used to buy my sister and I some kind of craft kit, wholeheartedly encouraging us to create. So I guess have her to blame for my ongoing addiction!!! I've been scrapping for just over 3 years and love the clean and simple approach with lots of white space on layouts. I find my inspiration in every day life wherever or whatever and I just love bright colour, it makes me smile! I'm delighted to have just secured a place on the Bellaboo Design Team and am looking forward to being kept very busy creating!
I'd like to say a HUGE thank you to the Pencil Lines team for asking me to play along this week.

Please give a big Pencil Lines welcome to this weeks guest designer, Noel Culbertson, who also provided this weeks sketch.

Here is what Noel had to say:

Hi, my name is Noel Culbertson, and I have been completely addicted to paper for most of my life! My poor parents tried their best to help keep my craze for crafting at least contained to my room as a kid. Sorry to say it didn't really work, and now they've passed the torch to my fabulous husband of nearly 10 years, Stan. My two little princesses, Torrey and Emma, keep him hopping too.

I have scrapbooks filled with wrappers, mementos and pictures that I made as a kid, but I really fell head first into the frenzy when the oldest of my two daughters was born. My two little sweeties are a constant sourse of inspiration for my layouts and pictures. Being a military wife, I spend a lot of the late nights while my husband is deployed scrapping like a mad woman. It's been such a great outlet over the years, and I've got something tangible to boot. You really can't beat that!

On July 31, 2007 I fell into the greater scrapbooking world as one of CK's Scrapbooker of the Year finalists. Since then I've had the very great priveledge of serving on several design teams, submitting to magainzes, working with The Scrap Review and making some of the best friends a girl could hope for. You know you're a part of something amazing when your husband attends a scrapbook trade show with you and says, "You've got a hobby with a really amazing community attached to it!" Being a part of a hobby that allows me to focus on all of the fabulous bounty in my life, while keeping me right in the middle of making those memories is a blessing indeed!

I am Kazue from Fukuoka JAPAN,  work at home mom wit 2 kids and am a wife to an easy-goin guy from Hawaii.
Thanks for the opportunity to be a guest designer for Pencil Lines this week, I am so thrilled!!!

Every Monday, I find something new, different and fun at PL that keeps me wanting to make more layouts!

I own emac Scrap   ,Ms. Scrap  and am happy to work for codomono art.
I became involved in scrapbooking about six years ago and was hooked.
I started with Digital Scrap cause they didn't have stores here yet. Now I do both paper and Digital scrap. Actually I looove the Pretty PAPER!!! I just love to touch the paper and Photos with my hands.
My  scrap style? I like doodles and handwriting for titles and journals.  also I like to cut the paper
with scissors not a trimmer though it's not really straight line : ) I feel it really expresses your own feelings more. I love creating layouts with my daughter and son. Their ideas inspire me all the time!!!  and I love  those moments, too.... : )

Here's what Vinnie had to say:

I am an Indian born in Fiji. I came to NZ when I was about 3 years old. I am the oldest out of 5 siblings. I have a diploma in Website design and Mulitimedia, where I gained a lot of my technical skills.I am the author of Digital Scrapbooking – The definitive New Zealand Ideas Book - Coming soon mid April, this is my first book and I am so excited about it! I am pleased to be a stay at home mum, although I think the 'stay' should be changed to 'work' I have 2 kids at the moment. Noah aged four and a half and Jacinda, aged two. I have been married to Justin Pearce for almost 6 years now.I am the founder of PixelCanvas.co.nz, a digital scrapbooking community and supply store. The community is made up of people from all across the globe. It is a place where people can purchase my kits too.
