Sketch 135

Please give a big Pencil Lines welcome to this weeks guest designer, Noel Culbertson, who also provided this weeks sketch.

Here is what Noel had to say:

Hi, my name is Noel Culbertson, and I have been completely addicted to paper for most of my life! My poor parents tried their best to help keep my craze for crafting at least contained to my room as a kid. Sorry to say it didn't really work, and now they've passed the torch to my fabulous husband of nearly 10 years, Stan. My two little princesses, Torrey and Emma, keep him hopping too.

I have scrapbooks filled with wrappers, mementos and pictures that I made as a kid, but I really fell head first into the frenzy when the oldest of my two daughters was born. My two little sweeties are a constant sourse of inspiration for my layouts and pictures. Being a military wife, I spend a lot of the late nights while my husband is deployed scrapping like a mad woman. It's been such a great outlet over the years, and I've got something tangible to boot. You really can't beat that!

On July 31, 2007 I fell into the greater scrapbooking world as one of CK's Scrapbooker of the Year finalists. Since then I've had the very great priveledge of serving on several design teams, submitting to magainzes, working with The Scrap Review and making some of the best friends a girl could hope for. You know you're a part of something amazing when your husband attends a scrapbook trade show with you and says, "You've got a hobby with a really amazing community attached to it!" Being a part of a hobby that allows me to focus on all of the fabulous bounty in my life, while keeping me right in the middle of making those memories is a blessing indeed!
