Shimelle's challenge...from old to new!

Before you think I've slipped into a timewarp of supplies and styles, this layout is nearly four years old now.  It's one that is simple enough that it hasn't aged quite as much as most of the layouts I made then, and I still tend to like it.  So this is the start of my old to new challenge: taking an old layout and making it new.  Use my old page as your sketch OR use one of your old pages as your own sketch!

Here's that same page reduced to a sketch format with plenty of space to add your own choice of accents.  Digi scrappers can download this page as a layered .psd template free from shimelle.com this weekend. 

Using the template and a new digi kit that will be available in my digi shop next Tuesday (plus a frame by MaryAnn Wise and sparkles from The Queen of Quirk), this is my new version from the old sketch.
