Pencil Lines is a blog all about using sketches to expand your artistic horizons, get you outside your box, and lift you out of scrappers block and to help you get more layouts done. It is about thinking outside your normal processes to create something wonderful.

Sketch 168

Hello and welcome to the first sketch of 2010. Our new team will be introduced over the coming weeks, today we have Sasha and Karole joining us.

Please give a big Pencil Lines welcome to our first guest designer of 2010, Dina Wakely. Dina has been a guest designer previously, but we love her work so much we invited her back! Dina also provided this weeks sketch.

Here is what Dina had to say :

Howdy, I'm Dina Wakley, and it's such an honor to be part of Pencil Lines once again. This blog (and all the DT members here) are always such an inspiration! I've been scrapping since 1995, and have always loved playing with paper and glue. I also do mixed media art and visual journaling (you can find my online art journal classes at http://www.debbiehodge.com). I'm lucky to design for Jenni Bowlin, Maya Road, Hambly, Kitschy Digitals, and {entreARTistes} magazine. I love paint and ink...I find that they are the perfect embellishment! I love to travel, teach, eat good food, and hang out with good friends. I'm also a docent (tour guide) at the Phoenix Art Museum. It's a joy to take a group of school kids and to help them fall in love with art. Visit me anytime (come and say hi!) at my blog... :)
