Sketch 200

Can you actually believe this is our 200th sketch!, I am blown away that we have reached sketch 200, and we are fast approaching our 4th birthday!

You, our readers have made this possible, along with our amazing design team and guest deisgners.

This week, and for the rest of August, Pencil Lines have teamed up with Colour Combos Galore. So with out further ado, please give a huge Pencil Lines welcome to this week's guest host, Color Combos Galore. Founder Janet Perafan-Babar has created a stunning Color Combo to go with this week's sketch. We also invited members of her Design Team to play along!

Here is what Janet had to say...

Hi, sketch lovers! First, I want to say CONGRATULATIONS to Anna and the Pencil Lines teams, past and present, on 200 fabulous sketches! Woo-Hoo, what an accomplishment! Color Combos Galore is very excited and honored to be a part of the celebration! Thank You, Pencil Lines for inspiring us for so long!

Since 2007, Color Combos Galore has encouraged paper crafters worldwide to explore the entire spectrum of color through challenges that push their creativity to new levels of crafting with color. This year, we added a new twist to our challenges with Inspiration Boards that not only include the Color Combo, but the photo that inspired it, and most recently a Designer's Challenge that translates such elements as product usage, technique, composition, typography, etc., to the project. Participants are also invited to "read" the photo and draw their own inspiration. It's so fun and exciting!

Our mission has always been to "Step Outside Your Box," and while our challenges might seem a "mission impossible," it has been proven to be a "mission accomplished," with many participants pleasantly surprised and satisfied with their results. We invite you to join us at Color Combos Galore and prepare to be challenged!
