Hello Pencil Lines fans. Looks like I have another apology to make as I did not make the announcement I had planned for Wednesday, this will be announced at the end of this post!

We have some big changes planned ahead and they start with us doing a spotlight on our design team. Each member of our design team will be designing the sketch and giving you the readers a little insight into what makes them tick!

Hi, I am Leanne, l I'm 28, engaged to be married in august this year to my long time fella k. We have a beautiful little boy, maxwell, who has just turned 1. I've been scrapbooking for about 5 years now and have made some amazing friends along the way. I also do lots of other crafts and dream of being a domestic goddess. And I love to bake. Lots.

Here is what Francine had to say:

Francine hails from the tiny Caribbean island of Grenada and has been making cards since 2001 and scrapbooking since 2002. Scrapbooking and other paper crafts are her creative outlet. She loves kraft cardstock, graphic patterned papers, buttons, chipboard, stamps and vintage book pages. She doesn’t mind getting her fingers covered in ink and paint, and will try just about any technique once! Her pages reflect her daily life, travel, thoughts and dreams and random moments. She is also an avid amateur photographer, and you will rarely find her without her trusted Canon 350D. She recently started playing with pixels as well as paper and glue and is now hooked! Her work has been published in major magazines such as Creating Keepsakes, Simple Scrapbooks and Scrapbook Trends. She is the Scrapbooking editor on Craft Gossip, a 2011 Ella Friend and part of the collective at Write.Click.Scrapbook, on the Design Team for Banana Frog, Design House Digital and Little Black Dress,  and blogs almost daily at Callaloo Soup .

Francine currently lives in France with her husband Lucas, their son Kieran, and their cats Mozaique and Naâla.

Here is what Anthea had to say:

Hi, my name is Anthea Peterson and I live on the gorgeous South Coast of NSW in Australia with my Partner and our 3 boys, Josh, 8, Wesley, 6 and Zach, 3.

 

I started Scrapbooking when I was pregnant with Wesley and haven't looked back. Now I am fortunate enough to have my own Scrapbooking Room and get to design for an online Aussie Scrapbooking Store, Aussie Chipboard Manufacturer and a Challenge site.

 

I love every element about this hobby. My Partner is in the Royal Australian Navy and has spent some time away, while he was away I started to join forums and got to meet some lovely women IRL. Now, even though he is home, I still continue to get out there meeting fabulous women who also share this hobby.

 

I also love that I am recording our lives. Usually a photo sits in an album (or now that we are in the digital age it sits on the hard drive of our computer's) I get to take these photos and then help them to tell their story, I also get to play with pretty papers and embellishments, who could argue with that?? Also I was always into one type of craft or another while I was growing up, so for me this is a win/win situation.

Here is what Emma had to say; 

 Hello there! My name is Emma Trout. I am super lucky to have been invited back for a second time as guest designer here at Pencil Lines. Thank you ladies...I am really honoured!
I have been scrapbooking for over four years  now  since my lovely neighbour showed me one of her scrapbook albums. One look and I was hooked! I am so grateful that my family (I have a husband and two teenage boys) have embraced my hobby, ignored the mess I make when creating and enjoyed the journey with me. They are even willing models now and have stopped running when the camera is pointed at them!
Scrapbooking has provided me with an outlet to be feminine in a male dominated household. I love to layer and embellish my pages and use doodling and paint. I have also turned my hand to off the page items...my favourites being a balloon/mini book and altered Rubiks Cube.I am currently a DT member for The Color Room.
When I am not scrapping I can be found walking my crazy dog, burning the dinner and tackling the jungle that is my garden.  Huge thanks again to Pencil Lines for having me as a guest designer and for all of their wonderful inspiration!

Here is what Nikki had to say:

Hey there, my name is Nikki Sivils!  I love to scrapbook, make cards, and spend way too much time doing all kinds of altered projects!! I once created a “Haunted House” that took 18 hours to make. I worked for 12 hours straight before my husband reminded me that I needed to eat! I do the same thing when I am creating my paper collections – I’m just in the moment! I am a huge animal lover and have three dogs – two of which are rescues.  I’ve rescued hundreds of dogs through the years and have found wonderful homes for each one of them!!  I carry a collar, leash and some kind of tasty treat in my car (and I make my husband do the same in his car!) so when I see a running dog lose on a street or highway, I can return them home safely or find them a home.  My husband, Dan, and I volunteer for Pet Therapy of the Ozarks where we take our dogs to visit all kinds of people who are sick or disabled.  My little 6 lb Yorkie, Bella, is an absolute celebrity at the Hulston Cancer Center where she visits the patients while they are getting their chemotherapy treatments. All the nurses and doctors know her by name!! One of my favorite things to do is spend time with our kiddo, Henry. In the summer time, we’ll send Dan to bed early and stay up, keeping each other company while we obsessively work on our respective hobbies. It’s great bonding time! 

Starting Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker is a dream come true and it also means Dan and I spending pretty much every waking hour together.  We “share” a huge old farm table as our desk; I’m at one end and he is at the other (And we STILL really like each other, seriously!!).  Going from an attorney to an owner of a scrapbook company is pretty crazy for him, but for me… it’s “in-house” counsel!!! Gotta Love it!!
