Here is what Rae had to say:   

My name is Rae Barthel. I am originally from suburban Chicagoland, but now call Huntsville, Alabama, 'home'.
I am happily married to Tom, and we have three fabulously funny children: Michael (12), Lauren (10), and Matthew (7).
Our two dogs Chase (the Sheltie) and LuLu (the Yorkie) round out our family.
I started making cards about seven years ago, and love every little bit of this hobby! I have had many cards published in
Paper Crafts magazine, as well as Cards Idea Book Series, and some online publications.
I LOVE sketches, and am currently designing for CPS (Card Positioning Systems).
I am also super proud to be a Doghouse Diva designing for Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker, I just adore Nikki's products!!

This what Nancy had to say:

My name is Nancy van den Berg, I'm 29 years old. I live in the middle of The Netherlands together with my boyfriend and our 2 doggies. Besides being a scrapbook-addict, I work as a secretary and I also love to travel around the world.
I started scrapbooking in October 2005 (I actually discovered this amazing hobby while visiting a HUGE scrapbookstore in the US.

Crafts with Creativity have always been a part of my life. When I was  a young girl I couldn't get enough of colouring books and crayons, and I've always loved to "play" with different kinds of paper. Scrapbooking has turned out to be more than just a hobby to me. It allows me to express myself creatively and to share a part of myself with others. I try to create each and every day.I am very proud to be designing for: Junkitz, CreativeXpress and Scrap4life. Can’t wait to see what you all come up with!!!

What a Thrill to join in the fun here at PL this week! You girls are such an inspiration so I feel truly honoured!

so a little about me,hmmmm....

I'm Happily Married and Happily Mothering three sweet children, I've always Crafted, only time I've ever been bored is when I couldn't get my hands onto craft supplies. 

I hate labels and defining style, but I guess I've finally come to the point where I can call myself a Paper Artist.  Paper is a Medium that has limitless possibilities, So this keeps me inspired always trying to think of new ways to bend, stitch, stretch, and tear it!

I started Scrapbooking 8years ago, along the way making cards for friends, now I seem to do a lot more cardmaking than scrapbooking, but still do find a bit of time for my first love of Scrapbooking.

Spending time making a special card or mini album is a wonderful way to show someone how much they mean to you, so I love to see their faces when they receive a handmade treasure.

I am very proud to be Designing for The Stamping Queen, Scrap A While, DCM, & SALT being challenged is what makes my creative juices flow!

I hope you enjoy my sketch, I can't wait to see what you do with it

Please give a huge Pencil Line's welcome to the talented Andrea Gourley who is joining us today as our Guest Design Team member and who also provided this card sketch for today's Challenge.

   

Here's a few words from Andrea: "I am Andrea and from Newcastle Upon Tyne in North East England (UK) - hence my forum user name of Geordie Girl.

I've been papercrafting for most of my life, I've always made cards and have scrapbooked for the last couple of years as well as recently branching out into ATCs and altered art but with my own distinctive style.  I love mixing digital elements with more traditional styles and adding texture and detail with machine stitching, doodling and ribbons.

My other fascination is with fabric and I love creating rag doll Angels and Bunnies as well as home furnishings and fashion accessories.  I can think of nothing more rewarding and self encouraging than starting with a blank piece of paper or metre of fabric and ending up with my own self made piece of art.

I enjoy being on the Design Team for GoGoGreetings as well as a member of the inspiration blog It's A Creative World.  I have my own blog which is a record of my adventures in paper and fabric crafting as well as snippets of my life as a teacher in a busy Primary Special School and a 'not quite a grown up' stay at home daughter!"

a little extra from our Guest Sketch Artist!

Here is the little extra Pencil lines sketch we posted about on Sunday - It is a Card sketch from the wonderful Nicole aka Queengeek. We want to thank Nicole for her creative energy and fabby artwork and be sure we'll be seeing Nicole again on this blog!

We will often be posting a little extra - cards, tags, tiny little projects - just something to keep you inspired throughout the week. Next time we'll give you a heads up to save your scraps from your layout for the card as then its so easy to make up a card or tag etc right after you finish your layout and then you will slowly build up a stash of made cards perfect for every occasion.

Also we have some fabby news that's going to be announced on Saturday and our Guest Sketch Artist for Sunday is going to wow you! so don't forget to check us out on Saturday and Sunday and don't forget to share your beautiful artwork with us!
